How do workspaces work?

Blink uses workspaces to keep everything organized. Whether you’re working alone or part of a studio. Each workspace gives you access to specific tools and settings, depending on your role.

Personal workspace

Your personal workspace is perfect for individual tattoo artists who want to manage their own bookings through Blink.

Here you can:

  • Set up your payments with Stripe.

  • Configure and share your personal booking widget.

  • Manage all your bookings in one dashboard.

💡 Good to know: As an artist, you start with a personal workspace when you create your account.

Manager workspace

The manager workspace is for studio owners or managers who oversee multiple artists.

With a manager workspace, you can:

  • Set up and manage studio-wide settings.

  • Manage studio bookings.

  • Add or remove artists.

  • Control payments, widget settings, and availability for the whole studio.

Artist workspace

Once you’re invited to a studio workspace, you’ll have an artist workspace alongside your personal one.

As an artist, you can:

  • View your bookings within the studio.

  • Access your unique studio booking widget.

  • Adjust your personal settings for that specific studio, such as:

    • Your availability in that studio.

    • Specific flashes or designs you offer only there.

💡 Example: You might work Tuesdays in one studio and Fridays in another. Each artist workspace can have different settings.

Switching between workspaces

If you’re part of multiple workspaces (e.g., your personal one and one or more studios), you can switch between them easily from the top of your sidebar.

Summary

  • Personal workspace → manage your own bookings and widget.

  • Manager workspace → run a full studio and manage artists.

  • Artist workspace → manage your schedule and bookings inside a studio.

Workspaces give you flexibility to work solo or collaborate with studios. All in one Blink account.
